Common Juniper (Juniperus communis)



This week's letter in ABC Wednesday is J.
My choice for the letter is Juniper. To be more precise Common Juniper (Juniperus communis), which I photographed in Kevo Strict Nature Reserve.

  2. At first, I was going to say that they would not be edible, but then I decided to check it against Wikipedia.
    Finnish version of Wikipedia claims that it would be toxic, but still finnish and english version of a page says that it can be used to spice up wildlife, salmon, gin and Finnish Sahti.
