Erigeron uniflorus
This week's letter in ABC Wednesday is E.
I was once again able to find one plant from Lapland that matches the letter. This plant is called Erigeron uniflorus. It doesn't have its own page in Wikipedia, but I was able to find the name from Erigeron. According to that page, its english name would be One-flowered Fleabane, which sounds pretty logical if you split uniflorus to uni and florus.

Really lovely colors. Unique E.
VastaaPoistaLovely flower and love that in English is call a fleabane. Hi, I'm new in town. My E is in a 50 word story called The Prince of Darkness is a gentleman
VastaaPoistaWhat a very pretty and interesting looking plant! Almost like a daisy flower, but nothing like it in the stem and leaves.

I thought I knew fleabane, but not this uniquely purple-haired specimen. Very exotic looking. In Michigan, it is Erigeron strigosus or Daisy Fleabane, not very exotic.
