I still keep on plant photographs, so my pick for the week is Convallaria majalis, which is also known as Lily of the Valley.

  8. I love Lily of the Valley. I looked at the title then the picture and thought, hey, that's not a whatchamacallit. Then you unwrapped the Latin! Nicely done.

  10. Wanda: I think things like flower of a month are something, where each country might have its own customs.
    But the photograph was taken in May 30, so I think its flowering period is around May and as such it might well be flower of a month in some areas in a world.

  11. I love the look of this flower and especially like sterling silver with this design. I wish lily of the valley (and bleeding heart) would grow here.
