Hiidenportti Gorge

This week's letter in ABC Wednesday is G.
My choice for this letter is gorge. To be more precise, photograph is from Hiidenportti Gorge in Hiidenportti National Park, which is part of Sotkamo in Finland.
It is only 1.3km long, but it has nice vertical rock walls on both sides and trail goes along the top of those walls.
Even though it is not that far away from my parent-in-laws home, I've only visited it once and that was just before end of year in wintertime.

In previous rounds:
Goldfinch (Carduelis carduelis)

P.S. If you are geocatcher, this National Park also has nice small geocache (GC15E2V).

  1. The gorge looks GORGEOUS but dangerous. Love the fact that you have the geocache, though I've never participated.
