Eurasian Oystercatcher (Haematopus ostralegus)
This week's letter in ABC Wednesday is O.
Most of my obvious choices had already been used in past so at the end I decided to take photograph about Eurasian version of Oystercatcher bird. Even though you can't find oysters in Finland, we see these birds in our shorelines. I love their black and white coloring, when they are in flight, but I've never manage to capture it into photograph.
Some of the other topics that I've blogged about in past, which would have matched nicely with letter O are:
Olhava in Repovesi National Park
Oulanka Canyon in Oulanka National Park
Oulankajoki
