Dandelion (Taraxacum offinale)
This weeks letter in 5th round of ABC Wednesday is D.
As you can see from above, my choive is Dandelion, which is one of the real survivors in nature. They adapt to all kind of conditions as they spread around and once they get their roots into ground, it is pretty hard to get rid of it.

Oh, don't I know it, I can't get rid of them at all. They keep coming back over and over and over... They can adapt all they like, as long as they don't do it in my garden!
VastaaPoistaA good choice. They may be Public Enemy No.1, to some lawn owners, but I like them.
VastaaPoistaA very beautiful picture of the Dandelion :)
VastaaPoistaTerrific closeup of the lowly dandelion. Great choice for the letter D.
VastaaPoistaTerrific shot for the day! We have some very persistent dandelions here in Seattle, Washington!!
VastaaPoistaThat's one flower I didn't think of for D! Nice shot!
VastaaPoistaNever heard or seen these flowers before I thought until I found bt translation that we call them "Løvetann" Lions Tooth
VastaaPoistaThey are only beautiful when yellow
@ArneA: That is why I always like to add scientific names to plants. Makes your life whole lot easier, when you try to search for more photographs about some plants or figure out what it is in your native language.
VastaaPoistaOh, I think they're pretty when they're white and you can blow them . Don't know why they're considered weeds, or unattractive.
VastaaPoista@Roger: I think they've considered to be weeds, because you don't have option whether or not you want to have them. Once you have them, it is very hard to remove them from your grass, etc.
